The Vulture (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:48221
Name:The Vulture
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Heroes Assembled Customs
Date Added:March 22, 2013
Base Figure:X-23, DCUC Deadman
Height:6.00 inches
Here's the Vulture! Another addition to the legendary Giusti collection of custom figures, this version of the Vulture was based on his classic look, as well as his look in the Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions video game.

The customer and I decided we wanted the Vulture to look menacing, instead of an old man flying around in his PJ's. The Vulture never really has any weapons either, the 'pick Spidey up and drop him' method of attack was getting really old, so we decided some throwing knives and keeping the 'toe spikes' from the X-23 figure was in order.

The X-23 body was modified to look like a male body. The base was great because there was no real muscle tone, and would work without making Vulture look too bulky. I added the arms from a DCUC Deadman (mostly because liked the hands..), and wings from an XMC Bird of Prey Angel.

I also sculpted the chest area, the feathers around the shoulders, and the feathery 'mane' around Vulture's neck.

Lastly, I installed ball joints in either wrist, drilled holes in the arms so you can interchange the Deadman hands AND the two Lady Deathstrike hands. I added belts to those, to make them blend in with the belts on the arms and hide the ball joints a bit, wrapped it in some traditional Vulture colors, and Adrian Toomes was ready to take on Spider-Man!

Thanks for looking. Make sure you check out my customs page on Facebook at the link below!

That's rad.
I love the old Spidey Villains and I have most of them, but not eh Vulture and it's not just because he's only available in a multi-pack. He's just not a very exciting toy. great design sure, but not toyetic. This looks like an actual really cool toy, and that's why I love it. It's good work all around and I love the face, which I assume is deadpool witha modified nose, but it's that cool 'wow' factor in its look that really appeals to me.

Yeah, the head is a DP cast from Starwarsgeek. I sculpted the nose to look more like the source material, and voila! Instant pointy-nosed geezer!
