Ms. Marvel V2 (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
I made a Ms. Marvel sometime in 2009, and though I loved it, it was definitely one that I wanted to revisit with better materials and time. Plus I paint a lot better now than I did back then. Anyways, I've just been tinkering with this thing forever. Kept the Livewire base for the torso. Originally I'd used Shanna hips/legs, but for this version I wanted to use WWE Diva hips that would allow for some more natural range of motion. This time I kept Livewire's legs and fused them back in. Also I added some rocker ankles and cut in some better range of motion for the torso and neck joints. The arms are from a WWE Diva body as well, and the hands were from the Hasbro Human Torch. The head was a modified XMC Rogue headcast, and the hair's from X3 Jean Grey. I sculpted the belt, but the sash ends are from a SOTA SF Gen. Came together way more smoothly this time around, though still a lot of work. Overall I do really like the proportions and the articulation scheme a lot. Think it's probably one of my best yet! Please wait... |

are you like a mutant with art powers? your artworks in inhumanly incredible!
can I ask how you made rocker ankles though?
The trickier part is dremeling out a socket for the foot, and drilling a matching peghole that holds the peg right. Usually I'll use various dremel small drill bits and shapes of steel high speed cutting heads to get that done, but it's always delicate since there's never much room for error.
