Originally I started out trying to "tweak" the Toybiz version into one I could comfortably display, but was never really satisfied with the result. To begin with I repainted her face to even out the splotchy complexion, recovered her tiara in smooth adhisive vinyl and modified a Vision cape. Tried adding Storm feet/hands and sanding down the diaper. Finally gave up in disgust and waited until I had an inspiration for a better recipe.
I had a spare Ms Marvel that I had gotten off a friend with the intention of using her as a base for Polaris. That didn't work out the way I planned, so Wanda ended up inheriting it. First I swapped out those floppy feet with some from a spare Psylocke and added Storm's hands. This was my first attempt as using Apoxie Sculpt and I couldn't quite get the gloves the way I wanted. So I ended up going with her opera gloved look instead. Sculpted boot cuffs and the top of her bodice. Then spent days trying to get the paint just right. I'm still not completely satisfied with her, but IMO she's a major improvement over the original.
