First of the TMNT team, Don, he and Mike were definitely my favorites when I was a kid. Like a lot of people, I really liked the new TMNT figures and thought they had awesome sculpts...but the paint was a little lacking.
Decided to revamp the whole set and give them better paint jobs. I tried to make them a bit more line-heavy like the original Mirage Turtles, and because I really like the NECA line that did the same thing. Out of the 4 Don didn't come out the best (barely) but ended up being my favorite, had a happy accident mixing paint for his skin tone too since it turned out perfectly toned.
