since Arthur Suydam (the guy who drew the marvel zombies covers) came to a comic fair in Santiago on the last weekend, i decided to make a diorama for the custom zombie hulk i made last year, i love Suydam's work so i thought it would be cool to make this and get it signed, but i just had 2 weeks! so i made everything in a rush and i was really worried because it was my first time to try making a whole figure from epoxy without a base.

so, the diorama is a mix between Suydam's cover for the 4th printing of the first marvel zombies and Jack Kirby's work on the first number of the incredible hulk, i made banner and the background of the dio trying to get the look of Suydam's cover while using the letters and bubbles from the sides from Kirby's cover.

the whole thing is made with wood as i usually do and the stuff that is "on the air" is supported with thick wires, i printed two parts of Suydam's cover, the soldiers from the left side and general Ross with Betty from the right side and then glued them to the background i also added sand to the floor to get some texture.

Now doctor banner was a complete improvisation since i never made a human figure with epoxy before i didn't even practice since i didn't have too much time, it was all or nothing! i'm really happy with the result though it obviously has some flaws since it is my first attempt but it had a lot of fun while i was working on him and now i look forward to make lots of figures on the same way.
