I know a lot of people have wanted an Ares figure, and with the new Hercules figure, there's a popular base...but there's been a good one all along. I used the Power Man from Power Man and Iron Fist 2pk, swapped arms with a Thor from the classic Avengers 3 pk, left hand from Retaliation Roadblock, right bracer was two of the bands from a Jim Lee Cyclops and sculpt in between them, the manica on the left arm was entirely sculpted. The head is an OPP cast modified with a sculpted on crest. The leg plates are cast from the 25th(I think, the one with the armor and smartgun) anniversary Iron Grenadier. Sword and axe from two Conan figures, and a second axe from WW Hulk. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, hope you enjoy! I added a pic of Ares facing off with Herc for size comparison.
