The poor Tf Classics line got off to a great start but then got killed by the movie figures. With no more figs coming out I took matters into my own hands and made Sideswipe.

Sideswipe was originally a Lamborghini and I found a cool Roadbots figure to redo him as the Lambo. I replaced the lousy head on the road bot and retooled a cooler ones that closely matched SS. I sprayed the entire piece with Krylon red, black, and silver then reassembled to get him as you see here.

I dry brushed the silver highlights on his robotic areas and was happy but not happy enough. I recreated his old shoulder missile launcher out of random pieces I had around and then decided to go a step further and give SS his old jetpack back. I swiped this off of an old Gundam I had lying around and repainted it accordingly.

The Rocket launcher and the jetback can both attach to him in his car mode.
