I was going to knock you for making a redheaded Simon Belmont in a 1995 contest, but, doing a bit of research, he did have red hair in the original 1987 Japanese Akumajou Dracula Famicom Disk System instruction manual, which is apparently what Kojima was looking to emulate when she did her redesign, so it's all good.
Anyhoo, this is an excellent rendition of good ol' Shimon Berumondo! Remy's head looks pretty swank on NECA's Simon body. While I can see that he has a dagger on his belt, some of his other sub-weapons (cross, axe, holy water, and clock) would have been fun accessories to add.
I had to do some research as well on when this design came out and I believe that the Japanese version of this game came out in 1995. Thank you for not knocking me as I was not entirely sure if this version of Simon would be acceptable for the contest. I think the Resuarus Remy head has a ton of potential for customizing, I wish I had 5 more to make other anime or video game characters even if he only has one ear. Maybe in the future I will spend extra time on making more weapons and accessories for my customs. Thanks for the compliments I really appreciate it.
