Base- Armored Zod from the Movie Masters line Head- Movie Masters Superman Alot of painting, slight neck head joint resculpting, etc. With the new Man of Steel movie in theaters, everyone is trying to find the armored General Zod figure in stores. I decided to level the playing field and give Superman his own set of Kryptonian armor as well. The armor was refurbished and tailored to Kal-El and was painted in his colors to represent everything that Superman stands for. The battle armor would allow him added protection against other Kryptonians or even a Doomsday type enemy in his future adventures. It’s the perfect suit to store away inside the Fortress of Solitude for emergency occasions where Superman needs the extra padding. After watching the movie, I thought it’d be cool if Superman would take General Zod’s armor after he defeats him and repurposes it himself. Superman knows that there are threats out there bigger than he is and he may need a suit to help out. After a few modifications, the suit acts as a channel for the sun and amplifies Superman’s abilities tenfold. The suit is itself a solar panel battery for the man inside. Superman stands at about 6 inches tall and is highly articulated. His head is attached to allow for good range of motion. He can be posed flying, looking up or down, and side to side at most angles. He sports a hand painted paint job. The figure was painted using only the best Citadel primer, and was hand painted using Citadel, Model Masters, Formula P3 and other high quality paints. Some areas are glossy, some flat and some are metallic. The colors are different shades of blues, reds, maroons, gunmetal, silver, clear colors, flesh tones, etc. He was given a heavy black wash and small amounts of metallic dry brushing to make the armor look more lived in and not pristine. We always believed in a lived in universe and not one where things look like they came off the assembly line. This armor looks like it’s been through some battles. He was then sealed so there would not be any paint rub issues. There is a ton of detail to the sculpt so repainting, dry brushing, washes, and advanced paint techniques were done to make the line work pop. Not much else too it. Just a new idea and a little more than your run of the mill head swap and paint. Thanks for looking guys! Kimota! Customs ![]() |

I don't know why Superman would put his House of El "hope" crest on it. Its just a battle suit.
looks great
I thought about doing that but didn't want to junk it up. I like that its just a spare suit over his normal costume.
