A real mix of parts here, heavily sculpted. I started making this after I saw Man of Steel on Friday. It was not a perfect film but I think it's a solid start to a new franchise and I really liked the cast. Chief among them is Amy Adams as Lois Lane who thanks to actually doing some reporting and investigation made Lois into a decent character. Since Movie Masters haven't made one yet I thought I'd have a go at making a Lois based on the pre-release photos. I think she wears this costume once in the actually film but I think it'll be how we see her most going forward, should there be a sequel. The parts: The Torso, legs hair and arms are from an Amy Pond figure. The feet are from a Gail Sin City figure, The head is from an Arkham City Talia, which had the closes look to Adams I could find. The neck join in from an April O'neal figure, the rolled-up sleeves from a Norman Osborne, the lower arms from a buffy figure. A real mix like I said. Had to sculpt a waist coat and more shapely legs to fit with Adams' build and the feet had to be overhauled from straps to pumps as I only really needed the heels that could stand easily. The shirt is fabric so she still had plenty of movement. This is the first time that I've tried to make custom of a woman and not only that it was a much more sculpting based build as well. What was in the forefront in my mind was not to exaggerate her and make her a realistic as I could. I may change the face if a better likeness comes along. Lois and my custom Superman are pictured on my latest Diorama: Battle-Damaged Metropolis. ![]() |

This is just wonderful.
and movie-accurate, too. Great job!
Let's take a moment to tip our hat to a Lois figure that a.) is actually dressed in the manner of her role as a badass professional journalist b.) does not reduce her to a sex object in a mini-skirt with her breasts spilling out of a low cut top c.) has her reasonably articulated, so that she can be involved in the action. Lois is a badass, and deserves this badass custom. Five stars!
