Alistair Smythe is a legacy villain, following in the footsteps of his father to destroy Spider-Man. Following an accident that cost him the use of his legs, he applied his knowledge of robotics to fashion a pair of cybernetic legs for himself. He continues to upgrade his robots and armour in his personal war with the wall-crawler.
I was reading the latest Superior Spider-Man comics, and the latest version of Smythe just jumped out and said "Make Me"! So I did. For the base, I used that terrible rendition of Ultron that TB made. I replaced the stomach and groin with Iron Man's, and the feet with Omega Red's. The foot claws were made from Doc Ock's tentacles. The shoulder-blade weapons/tentacles were made from Brood arms. I drilled holes in the back and they keep their articulation. The head is from Constrictor, and the helmet is scratch-made from a combination of plastic stuff. Lastly, I took some liberties with the chest spider: In the comics, it's just like Spider-Man's; I upgraded it so it's more '3D', like it could be one of his robots. I carved and shaped the existing shape on Ultron's chest, and added speaker wire for the legs. There you have it. No sculpt!
