A demon as old as the Earth, Fear Dearg wanders the deepest wilderness, completely insane and totally immersed in his dark machinations. He has little interest in the world of men, except on the darkest nights, when he enters their homes and steals their children. He is all but invisible in shadow, and draws power from his victims' fear.
This figure started out as an attempt to recreate jinsaotome's Grimwing the Vile. As it took form, I felt it going in another direction, taking influence from Irish folklore and the art of Arnold Lobel, among other things. Still, I want to give credit where credit is due.
The figure was made using the ML Havok body, with feet from LCBH Judge Death, and the cape from DCUC Creeper. The hair on the arms and legs is from the Hasbro ML Human Torch. The hands and head come from a figure called Mask of Phanteana, part of an older toy line called Resurrection of Monstress. It can be found online pretty easily. The feet and hair were painted with Citadel paints, first black and then finished with gloss varnish to give a slick, wet appearance. Thanks for looking.
