In this replica from movie two, Revenge of the Fallen, Optimus is beaten after his fight with three Decepticons and one of those being Megatron, and he displays massive damage but still fights for Sam. The model started as an overly large toy with clunky parts and weak plastic to become this delicate but detailed Optimus Prime. He is the tallest movie replica I believe and articulated too. He lights at his chest and eyes but fixed at his feet and knees. The paint job was to represent the very harshest and ruined metal possible without rust. The damage is inconsistent but in keeping with the battle. His face not the best and the flames are terrible but apart from those details i think he stands firmly on his own two feet. I was inspired by Encline Designs who in my opinion has created the very best version of this model ever. I plan a complete rework and repaint soon as I am not happy with many parts unless I sell it and start again with experienced gained from this version. It cost more than I wanted and stands in a case too that was not cheap. I cannot emphasize enough that these projcts should be kept fun and not get too serious as I did with this one. Thanks for reading. ![]() |

Yes, customs should be for fun. But, every once in a while you can pour everything into one and create a work of art. That's what this is, a true work of art.
