This custom is about 3 years old. He was one of the first customs that I tried using multiple figure parts to make. I've got a bunch of others I need to upload, but I really like how this one came out.

I'm a big fantasy fan. Read pretty much all of Tolkien, and I love D&D. So, I decided to make a few customs of my characters. This is a Dark Elf Ranger, I can't for the life of me remember his name. I moved onto a Wood Elf Ranger as my favourite/default character. He focused on dual wielding, finess more than bow. He has a pet Snow Fox, it's one of my favourite animals. Let me see if I can remember the recipe...

Head - ML Longshot with Aragorn hair, I think
Torso and upper arms - ML Havok
Crotch and upper legs - ML Longshot
Bracers and Boots - I think are from Gamling/Rohan soldier
Gloves - Random LotR figure, I don't know
Shoulder Armour - Eomer
Tunic and lower skirt part - Boromir
Belts - LotR fodder box
Scimitar - Prince of Persia figure
Fox - Safari miniature

After fitting and gluing everything together, I gave him a paintjob with Citadel paints. He retains pretty much ALL of the original articulation. The shoulder armour doesn't prohibit the joint moving at all, and the flexible tunic was glued to the Havok body so he still has the ab crunch and waist swivel. The only articulation that was pretty much lost was the odd forward backward shoulder articulation the Bullseye/Havok body has.

I've got the rest of my standard party that I'm gonna be putting up soon. Thanks for looking! Hope you like him, and God bless! :)

That means a lot coming from you, Fitz! I'm glad you like it. I'm trying to get some friends together to do a campaign using figures, instead of miniatures. I've got enough orcs, monsters, humans, and knights for it!

His name is drizzt, from the legend of drizzt book series by R.A. Salvatore. Love the books and your custom is awesome!

Thank you very much. Although, I didn't make him specifically based on Drizzt. He's just some random Dark Elf I played as for a couple campaigns. I have been thinking about making a Drizzt custom, though. Hmmm...maybe I should look through my fodder and start thinking about a recipe?
