Here an older custom of Animated Grimlock. With this one I wanted more of a classics feel for the figure, so I painted him close to the colors used on the Diamond Select G1 Grimlock bust only I used a metallic red instead of a flat red. I never liked the dull drab colors that Hasbro used on the Animated figures, but in the same aspect I think that Takara/Tomy went a little bright with their metallic colors on the Animated line. So to sum up I repainted all the gray, red, and gold parts with more vibrant colors, and I also did a little panel lining and finally a top coat.
