Here's another custom I've been working on and I am pleased with how he is coming out so I wanted to post him. Jack Torrance from another one of my favorite films/stories of all time. Sculpted hair, shirt, coat, and pants with clay. Fashioned his belt out of a rubberband and used a mini craft ring for the buckle. I still need to make him a movie-accurate ax and a door (of course) but this is pretty much done. An amazing character portrayed by an amazing actor forseen by an amazing director and based on a book by an amazing writer. I have seen a few Jack customs on here and I absolutely love all of them! Always wanted one for myself. Thank you guys for looking!! ![]() |

You should make a mini diorama with him axing the door.
BTW, I've actually toured the Stanley Hotel, outside Boulder, CO., where King wrote The Shining, and thus drew his inspiration. It's beautiful. I'd love to visit The Overlook someday as well, in Oregon.
And yes, I am definitely in the process of making him a better ax and a door.
I would LOVE to visit both of those locations one day as well, my friend.
Must admit that I'm a little jealous that you've already visited one of them.
That's rad for sure.
Glad you like the figure!!
