Hello! This is my first custom ever. I've been collecting Marvel Legends since just 2 months ago. Man, I've been blind a long time!

One of the first figures i bought is the Heroic Age Iron Man. I thought the red was too "pinky" for my taste and seeing other how people painted it with a better red, i wanted to give it a shot.

I really love it (although i really can't know if i messed it up cause i haven't seen another custom figure in person).

First of all, i painted the armor with Testors Clear Red and Metallic Gold. Then i painted all of the little arc reactors and lights with a light blue color. After that i painted with black in between the panels.

I painted each reactor with white on the centers which really makes the figure awesome (this needed to be painted from default but you know Hasbro...)

Finally i sealed him with a glossy coat to make him shine!! (i prefer them shiny than with a matte finish)
