A custom figure of Ripley from Alien (1979). Since NECA is apparently making the whole crew aside from Ripley, I decided to make my own Ripley to go alone with them. I was originally going to make a Nostromo uniform for this figure, but Maxwell J. Barmer II recommended I just make it like the scene where she discovers the Alien has stowed away on her escape ship. Since I'm not much for sewing and the uniform is a bit complicated (the back especially), I decided I'd just go for his idea. I made this figure using the head of a Hasbro Ripley figure (cut out the neck, drilled a peg hole and added a neck peg from the NECA AVPR Wolf Predator and the body was a TNA Wrestling Brook Tessmacher figure. Her gripping right hand is modded hand from the Hasbro Ripley, the closed fist right hand is from the TNA figure. since the original peg was attached to the hand, I had to use a new peg for the gripping hand. I used a peg in my parts bin (not sure what it was from, but I think it was either from a DC Universe or Marvel Legends figure). Also cut off the peg on the fist hand and drilled a hole for the new peg. The flamethrower also came from the Hasbro Ripley. Some of the details of her shirt were sculpted from Aves Studios Apoxie Sculpt. Painted using Citadel Paints.
