Hi guys, today I bring you my custom Iceman and base. Iceman is made from a wrestling action figure. I am not sure who it is but if you happen to know please share in the comments. I cracked the body open and shaved/sanded in order to reduce paint rub. Once the figure was ready I primed the figure all grey. I base coated the entire figure in a custom baby blue and dry brushed all white. I drilled a small hole on bottom of shoe and placed a rare earth magnet so he can be secure when standing on the base.

The base was very time consuming to make. In fact, the base took longer to make than the actual figure. First I started with 2 pieces of wood plaques. The larger one was painted black and is used for the base of the entire slide. The smaller rectangular piece is the platform for the front end of the slide. I then cut out plastic from a few action figure bubble packages. I warped them using heat and superglued/apoxied together. I then made 10 small apoxie cubes to serve as pegs holes for the legs. I took 5 long wooden dowels to make the legs. I put the entire thing together and used hot glue on both sides of the slide to give an ice effect. The entire thing was painted blue and did a ton of white dry brushing. Added magnets on the front end of slide and at the end of slide. I made the slide so I can detach everything in case I decide to hang with fishing wire in my display. I hope you all enjoy this and God Bless!
