Its all repainting. I went head to toe hand painting this bronze. gold, etc. Then I added the greenish blue aged copper wash. After I did that I went back over the figure in bronze to highlight other areas.
It all sounds really simple but the paint was brutal and really hard to get exactly right.
All in all I like how it came out.

I'm currently working on a bronze themed fig and I wish I'd seen this 1st I've gone the opposite route as u in that I added the gold details last and I'm not feelin' it.

Yours looks fantastic. It looks like the REAL DEAL so kudos, Kimota!

I love this!!! it looks exactly like a statue!!! I know it sounds simple but I can see how much work actually went into achieving that antique bronze finish. just beautiful!!!

Looks like a very complicated mixture of paints but all in all you nailed it! This really looks like a bronzed-aged statue. The oxidation came out really nice with that blue-green color.
