Holy Cow Realmers!!! I actually made some time for customizing, and boy am I glad I did. I'm sure most would agree that Face Off cap is the best version we have from the factories to date. But I didn't want to spend $80 on one. So what base to customize then? TFA, Avengers, Series 8, the new Infinite versions? I settled on Ultimate Cap because I felt like he looked the closest to what I was going for. I shed some belt supplies for a more aggressive combat readiness, ditched the vest, and repainted the suit. I couldn't be happier. This buck isn't quite as beefy as Face Off but that's aight. It was so fun to break out the tools again and do some custom work. And I finally have Cap on the shelf. Now to find some time for the other six projects I have parts for. :-) Comments always welcome and keep on building!

Well I'm no expert but these are the options that came to mind. Check loose figure lots or singles for a new shield altogether. drill a hole in his arm and stick the back peg right thru it (not ideal for posing without shield). and last u could take a small piece of rubber, make a full loop to stretch over his fist and attach that rubber ring to the shield with super glue or apoxie sculpt. hope that helps. if it were me I'd try to find a cheap shield first and then make the loop, maybe even a tiny rubber band ya know for girl's hair. Good luck soldier. :-)

Thanks everybody. I really appreciate it. I think I've decided to sculpt some head wings to go even more classic. So much fun. :-)
