Today I bring you a character that was appropriately/fittingly introduced in the silver age of comics back in 1966...Silver Surfer!!! Kirby came up with the design and when he introduced him to Stan Lee in the middle of the story of Galactus devouring worlds and approaching earth, Stan thought Kirby had gone too far with this nut on a flying surfboard. When he asked Kirby about it Kirby explained that he was tired of drawing spaceships, and that Galactus should have some sort of herald. Lee took to the characters noble attitude turning on his master to help earth, and began to develop the character further.

His costume hasn't changed much over the years but there have been many different interpretations of him and he has had different...feels to him. I really like the build and articulation of the new Superior Spidey mold and it think it is perfect for Silver Surfer, especially this era. I sanded down the pelvis to give him that silly underwear thing Kirby drew on him, but I guess that's kind of what they surfed in back in the 60s so it is kind of fitting for the era. Entire recipe as follows

Base:Superior Spiderman with smoothed pelvis and slight wrinkles sculpted on sides for undies
hands set 1: Toybiz silver surfer on Superior spidey wrist pegs
Hands set 2/blasting hands: Superior spidey grip hands painted to look like cosmic energy building
Head 1: Spidey legends movie Electro sanded down
Head 2: Spidey legends movie Electro with blasting eyes painted to look like cosmic energy building
Surfboard: Toybiz Silver Surfer sanded on bottom
Feet have magnets so he can magnetize to the board

Really like the expression the movie Electro gives, it fits the era too, and incedentally looks nothing like Jamie Foxx. Finished him off with a flat clean Silver paint job and slight chrome finish to add a little reflection in the shadows on the figure. Didn't want to go too crazy as to fit the era it was more of just a flat silver Surfer and not the chrome surfer as the past couple decades. Threw a little metallic cosmic energy blue on the alternate head and hands.
