Here comes…. Daredevil. The Man Without Fear! He was introduced to the world in his first comic book in 1964 during the Silver Age of comics. A superhero crime-fighter with a handicap was an extraordinary concept at the time. Although blind, Daredevil is fully aware of his surroundings and very athletic and acrobatic. The design for his first yellow costume resembled the outfit of a gymnast. In Daredevil #1, he fought thugs who worked for a crime boss known as The Fixer. He then confronted a familiar Spider-Man villain, Electro in issue #2. After issue #6, he stopped using the yellow suit, which was replaced by a red one that he wore for many years. I based this custom figure on the Daredevil statue by Bowen and the art from Marvel comics of the first costume of Matt Murdock: Daredevil. Recipe: Body: WWE Ryback Head: WWE John Cena Billy club and holder: Toy Biz Daredevil Straps and Horns: cut pieces of plastic “D” Symbol: sculpted Paint: red, brown, and yellow I included two Mattel WWE thugs and a Toybiz Electro in the pictures. Thanks to all who voted for this Silver Age Daredevil. ![]() |
