Hello Realmers! Here’s an entry for the Mascot Mayhem contest. What was I thinking when I made this? I guess you could say that I was in a vegetative state, not in body but in my mind. All I kept thinking about was vegetables. That’s what seeing the Jolly Green Giant does. He reminds us to eat good green vegetables. Some ads that feature him say “I Stand For Goodness”.

He’s been the mascot for the Green Giant brand of canned and frozen vegetable products since 1925. There’s a real giant statue of him in Minnesota, USA where the company was first founded.

I picked the biggest Hulk figure to make into the other famous green giant. I got some fake plant leaves and glued them all over him, around 100 total leaves. No painting was necessary since everything was all green already.

I had fun making this big guy. Hope you all like him too. I’ll wrap this up the same way the TV commercials with him do.
