Fist custom, thought I'd give myself a bit of an easy start. I took The series 1 Assault Dalek figure which had a darker bronze colour scheme as oppose to the other Dalek figures such as the Last Dalek with mutant reveal or the Cult of Skaro figures and basically dirtied and beat it up. The damage I created was as true to the on screen Dalek as I could see as the scenes it is in are rather dark. The dirt/ rust was created with watered down Tamiya acrylic model paints. The Daleks "bumper" was taken from a Dalek Sec figure as the original was a green/grey colour that was not true to the on screen Dalek.
