I just hated that pop on helmet on the Zod figure. It made him look like a huge Roach or something. Terrible and innaccurate. In the movie, Zod's helmet has much more of a skeletal look, much more menacing. I took the Metallo head from the Rockem-Sockem set and then whittled a Zod helmet down to fit around the face giving it a much more accurate look. then I made a mold of the newly combined parts and cast it in one piece. The neck area was also replaced with the shallower shape from the cheaper "Action Feature" Zod figure that swings girders. which allowed the head to sit lower on the shoulders. Zod's bearded head also looks awesome on this body once its lowered a bit.
