I started with painting all of the blue a darker shade. Then I painted the brown gloves, belt and boots a darker shade. After painting over the torso white, I made the bands around the biceps, I had to paint the red stripes. The harness is made from real leather.the helmet also had to be painted two separate shades of blue. The A and the wings on the helmet had to be painted on. Same with the chest star.

Pictures are a little grainy but I really like this captain america. The paint apps really mesh with the mold and the overall desgin was well executed. Marvelous

The figure I used was the captain america the winter soldier smithsonian suit. The one captain america used at the end of the movie. If u want to make the figure u can see more pics on my youtube channel- Ironmanfan42 the video should be up in a day
