Hey guys, today I present, Groundchuck. Although he is one of the less known mutants under Shredder's command, he is one of the coolest. I started with a Spawn Sabre figure that I've had since it was new in 1997. Originally, I was gonna take the easy route and just give him a repaint. After some thought, I realized that a big part of what made this character so cool was his faceplate armor. I sculpted the faceplate, horn and tail and filled in some gaps and holes with apoxie. I decided to keep the bright color scheme as a tribute to the original figure, mostly all gloss acrylics. I finished him off with a black wash for a dirty look.
