Platdude is the mascot of indie video game developer Jayenkai. He runs a site called agameaweek where, with very few exceptions, he releases at least one game per week, and every one I've tried has been anywhere from decent to extraordinarily awesome.

So, with a Minecraft figure (designated "Steve?" on the packaging), I went about in painting up a tribute to Jayenkai's minimalist mascot. Due to Steve's structure, I couldn't get Platdude 100% accurate without putting in work that is probably beyond my skill, but I did find out that with his popped neck like this, he does sort of resemble an earlier prototype of the character.

So yeah... nothing really too exciting in terms of blueprints. Just a quick repaint to show my support.
