"I am Groot!"

I've had this Hulk figure sitting around in my fodder box for a while and I really wanted to do something with him. I'll be honest, I'm not too familiar with the GOTG comics, but when I saw the trailer, I knew that this guy would be perfect to make a Groot figure!

He was actually pretty simple. The figure itself already came with a very well textured body and two tree-like arms, so all the work went into the head.

His nose was sanded down flat, re sculpted and then the rest of the head was re sculpted to look more like Groot's tree features.

Finally, everything got a new paintjob, some black washes and some green drybrushing where needed. Last thing was sealing him to make sure he lasts.

Pretty easy figure, but I like the result!
