Hi guys!
First time posting, but I've been a lurker forever, there's such inspiring work on here everyday, I felt it was about time I contributed!

I always felt disappointed with Mattel's Batman offerings, so I decided to improve it a bit to fit the "CLASSIC" title...

I gave him the DC Universe small male torso to give him that more lean look, the way Neal Adams drew him. Plus the DC Superheros Series 1 Batman hands & DC Superheroes Series 3 Batman arms for the extra articulation and stitching detail.

The cape has been cut and sewn with twisty ties placed inside the edge to get some really cool dramatic poses like Batman should be able to! It was tricky fiddly business, and I don't plan on doing a cape like this again anytime soon lol.

Then it was all given a new lick of paint to bring out the details and put some shading onto him.

Hey thanks man, I was really happy with how it turned out. On my recent batman custom I used a plastic cape though, and now I'm not sure which I prefer lol

This is the best wired cap I have ever seen. So ill stick to this one. Btw you should do a batman beyond with a wire wing cape

Ah the Batman of my childhood! First off thank you for bring up some good ol Memories from the 70's and second this is one hell of a custom batman! You really nailed the colors and the cape is fantastic. Your work on that cape really was worth it!

As much as I dislike brightly coloured Batman I do love this era of the comics and this figure looks fantastic. The cape is superb too.
