Beneath the waves of the wild, rocky Southern coast dwells Morveren. Beautiful and alluring, she likes nothing more than to comb out her fiery tresses and sing haunting songs whilst looking at her own reflection. Her favourite spot is a secluded cove littered with debris from storms. One particular day after a severe storm, Morveren whilst sunning herself on the rocks, singing snippets of sea shanties, is disturbed by a mortal man. Her instincts are to lure him into the depths but something about him intrigues her...

Morveren means "Sea Maiden" in Cornish. She is based on a mermaid from one of my favourite Cornish myths. She is made from a strangefate nude female figure (she is anatomically correct behind her hair), her hands are from a Monster High Purrsephone doll. Hair is Galadriel's with apoxie sculpt. Tail is apoxie sculpt, with scales texture made by pressing netting into the clay. Fins made from plastic packaging. Painted in acrylics.
