Actually, Dabura was supposed to be about the same power level as Perfect Cell was. It was Toriyama's way of showing just how far the other Z-fighters had come... as well as how out of shape Gohan really was. Still, considering he hadn't really fought in years and was still able to fight the equivalent of Cell after a few months of training, clearly he wasn't THAT out of shape.

Yeah but I think Gohan shoulda been much stronger after just a few months of training. Shot he reached ss and ss 2 in a year.he was naturally stronger then anyone on the show. Just never trained . So he got his a$$ whooped by Broly as well. Gohan was alive so he should have got stronger. After cell there were plenty of enemy's such as bojack. He fought in the world turny. I feel like he let everyone down. One thing I hear is goku says wtf piccolo. I asked you to train Gohan . Not make him into a powerranger.
