Wandjina along with his teammates Blue Jay and Silver Sorceress were the survivors of a nuclear holocaust caused by the Extremists. They regrouped together as the Champions of Angor and, with little recourse, sought refuge in another dimension. They arrived on the planet Earth and attempted to destroy Earth's nuclear stockpile in the hopes of preventing the devastations that destroyed Angor from affecting Earth as well. Their efforts were met with resistance however, and they crossed paths with the Justice League I started by taking Doc Samsons' hair off, and discovering the head underneath was narrow like a greyhound's. I used milliput for the head, ears, bracelets, and the details on his torso. The fur on his cape is from a DCUC Creeper. The axe was sculpted over a smaller toy axe from the fodder box with Aves. Painted with Acrylics. I went off model by giving him pants. The Assemblers first appeared in Justice League of America back in the 70's and were brought back early in the Giffen run. They were an homage to Marvel's Avengers. Now that I have completed Wandjina, I will have to find the right parts for Silver Sorceress, Bluejay, and Captain Swift. Let me know what you think ![]() |
