Good day my friends! , today I will continue with the world of the "Agents of Gaia" series , but this time we'll see the other side , with so many heroines , i's about time I introduce some cool antagonists to my Universe , some "Nemesis" , and whom better to begin with than as ancient one , The Trickster (no not Flash's rogue) , also know in Native American folklore as The Raven or The Coyote (depending on the tribe) The raven also has a prominent role in the mythologies of the Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast, including the Tsimishian, Haida, Heiltsuk, Tlingit, Kwakwaka'wakw, Coast Salish, Koyukons, and Inuit. The raven in these indigenous peoples' mythology is the Creator of the world, but it is also considered a trickster god.[citation needed] For instance, in Tlingit culture, there are two different raven characters which can be identified, although they are not always clearly differentiated. One is the creator raven, responsible for bringing the world into being and who is sometimes considered to be the individual who brought light to the darkness. The other is the childish raven, always selfish, sly, conniving, and hungry. Coyote has been compared to both the Scandinavian Loki, and also Prometheus, who shared with Coyote the trick of having stolen fire from the gods as a gift for mankind, and Anansi, a mythological culture hero from Western African mythology. In Eurasia, rather than a coyote, a fox is often featured as a trickster hero, ranging from kitsune (fox) tales in Japan to the Reynard cycle in Western Europe. Similarities can also be drawn with another trickster, the Polynesian demigod Māui, who also stole fire for mankind and introduced death to the world. Coyote and Crow obtained mythic status because they are mediator animals between life and death. Sometimes good , sometimes evil , but always wicked , a constant shape shifter and master manipulator , like a child , always ready to play and we are her favorite toys , assuming a villainous female persona mainly just to have fun with the so many heroines gathered by Gaia , and being what she is best ...WICKED!! , specially towards the fallen goddess Freya , now depowered and stuck in our (her) world , and whose stolen wings she proudly wears for everyone to see , so many "tricksters" , so many "legends" , so many "faces/forms" , so many "names" , but at the end of the day they are all one and the same creature (deity) , the ultimate "Trick" , wouldn't you say!!. This is quite simple a kit bash of leftover parts (mentioning each one would take forever , so I'll leave it to your imagination) , and painted in some parts in gray and wine acrylic colors , (the wings were originally a six winged set , the other four are in my Valfreyja custom) , originally intended to be a part of the 2nd wave of Valkyrie Angels , but after seen how raw and primitive she end up looking and with my current series , she was a natural for my Trickster Nemesis (that will be the named assigned to all villains in this Universe , they are individuals , NOT a team ...Yet!) , hope you like her , Thanks!
