When I saw this 1:18 Hot Wheels Customized VW Drag Bus I thought it would be an excellent base vehicle for this project. I stripped the paint, fully re-painted the van, designed the decals as vector drawings so I could re-size them without loosing resolution, printed them in water slide decal paper and added the license plate as a sticker and homage to the 2007 Cowabunga Carl van.
