Hi realmers, Been a while and I've been thinking of trying my hand at doing some customs on a new platform, at least new for me. I've started with Marvel Universe, moved on to Revoltech and Figma figures as bases, and now, 1/12 ThreeA figures. I will try to create a short video on this once time permits. In the meantime here's how the custom went; I created some costume patterns on cardboard and chose an old black polo shirt and bought red cloth for the suit material. it took me three attempts to get the fit right. Not too tight and especially not too loose, while still maintaining the wonderful articulation afforded by the ThreeA base figure. The webbing is made from the ThreeA accessories, modified and sewn to suit Deadpool's costume. He's got a working holster and working quick release buckles. The face underneath the cloth mask was sculpted to add more realism to having a face under the mask. Took some hints from the new Deadpool figure from Sideshow and I sculpted shoulder and Knee guards. I think the biggest challenge was getting the zipper sewn in perfectly. Overall it was a good learning exercise. I hope you enjoy the figure as much as I enjoyed making it. Have a good one. God be the glory. ![]() |

The base figure is from an Action Portable 6 inch figure from 3A
The gun is from Kotobukiya, a gundam version of the HK418
I painted and weathered it for a bit of realism
The whole intention was to literally make a costumed deadpool.
