Hi everyone. For this contest, I tried to make a simple custom of one favorite Marvel character in my childhood: Shang-chi, Master of Kung-Fu. I saw him for the first time in a story with Spider-man, Black widow, Silver Samurai, Viper, Nick Fury and Boomerang (in Marvel Team-Up comics, Issues # 82 – 85 if I remember well). In the story, Shang-chi was presented like a Fury’s asset. It was a good story, well drawn by Sal Buscema.
I tried to make a ML version with his first old fashioned clothes because this is the Shang-chi of my memories.

Thank you very much. I'm really glad you like it.

At first I had his clothes and I didn't know if it would work. after a good test on the body of the AF Fei Long, I tried to focus on the face to find something unusual. And I was surprised to correspondence with the AF McFarlane Studio. Except the kimono jacket which is a little small, and feet would be better with the AF Ka-Zar's nude feet, all works pretty well.

Thank you very much. Nunchaku just SOTA toys. They really made good products. I love doing the old characters who do not have much chance to appear in stores. But I lack talent in painting and sculpture so I try to compensate for the assembly and Dremel. This time, it works pretty well.

Thank you for this nice comment. But clothes are everything there. I confess that I am more familiar with the old school heroes. I am completely disconnected from the new generation of X-Men, for example. Problem of years, I guess ... and there, I cannot change that.

I'm surprised at how good the cloth looks on this figure. Cloth doesn't always look good on a Marvel Legends figure, but here its perfect.

Like you, at first I was not sure that the result would be good. but the stretch fabric works well on the body and legs. About legs, a nice detail: the junction of the calf AF Iron Fist allows the yellow hem of the pants to grab and stay in place. As nice coincidence. I'm glad you like it. Thank you.
