Monsters? Horror? I honestly couldn't figure out where to put this one. But, being Halloween, I feel the need to fit the theme. And most of you know how I am with themes. First step to getting better is to admit you have a problem....which I don't have. Now, growing up I actually spent a ton of time watching old black and white movies. I think I appreciated the storytelling even then. While Dracula was great, my favorite was still the Wolfman. Ok, House of Dracula and House of Frankenstein were awesome because it featured all three monsters, and that was like Monster Avengers for me. But, I loved the Wolfman movies with Lon Chaney Jr. When I first started customizing, I actually picked up this head and put him together as my third custom. However, I never got around to painting him. Coming up to Halloween this year, I wanted some themed characters, and decided to stick with the build and go ahead and finish him up. So, I sculpted some fur patches up on his hands and neck, then gave him a brown repaint, white shirt, and opted to drybrush some blood to finish him off. I was a bit stuck on the colors, but ended up using the more recent Wolfman movie as a point of reference. Overall, I'm pretty happy with him and glad to have finally finished him up.
