Hey all, So I wanted to do a Red Hood that was different from my old recipe. I wanted something that that looked like it could fit into the Injustice universe. Red Hood is dark--returned from the dead via magic. In my mind, he'd wear more black than a light brown jacket with light grey undersuit. Just my opinion. I also wanted lots of articulation and a lithe body--he was young and not so muscle-bound--and he was dead, so there's not a lot of weight gain that occurs post-mortem, LOL. I know he was around a while before 'resurfacing', but I still think he'd be leaner. I decided to use the ML Nick Fury. Sculpted the helmet to have the front mask be a separate, raised face plate. I like that it implies removability and is more mask than simple helmet. The chest armor is all sculpted, as is the chest emblem, and so are the boots (his feet were WAAAY to skinny). The short jacket is a coat from a BTVS 50's Angel. Guns are from ML figures--cut Fury's shoulder holster and added it to the other leg for the twin pistols. Here you have my simple take on the Red Hood. Critiques are welcome! - Fitz ![]() |
