The first time I saw this design I fell in love with it, this is only one of the various character design that Alex Ross did for DC around the time of the One Year Later event; most of them went unused, like this one.
The idea was to give Dick Grayson a Neal Adams-esque look, with the cape and cowl being actually blue with a slightly metallic sheen. The black and blue scheme was also a continuation of his Nightwing look.

The figure was made from a Martial Arts Batman, that had both the Neal Adams body type and was already mostly black. I re-sculpted the gloves with epoxy putty; made a new cape out of foamy and used the bat symbol from the packaging card of a Hot Wheels Batmobile. Painted with Humbrol enamels.
