Nice choice of a base figure! I love DC Collectible's Ultraman.

The face looks so realistic. I immediately recognized that face is Tom Welling before you even say Tom Welling. How do you sculpt, or paint a face that specific?!

Originally, I planned to trim down som parts of his forehead and sculpt over a few facial muscles to make his features more prominent . But the original sculpt was good enough anywAy

Yeah the Ultraman is a perfect base fig. I wish I had gotten 3, and keep one in mint condition . I'm happy you appreciated the work bro. Thanks !!!!

The yellow inside the chest symbol probably coulda used another coat to give the contrast a cleaner look, but otherwise excellent job!

Thanks man! It's actually gold not yellow.taking photos of figs with metallic colors coated with gloss clear acrylic has always been a problem. It either reflects the surrounding area, or hi-lites the mistakes! You have a good eye! In this case , it's both I will add another coat of gold paint

Thank you guys!!!! I redesigned the Season 11 suit by changing the S. To look more like the Alex Ross King Come version; the texture was inspired by Tim Burtons metallic design for Nic Cage's rubber muscle suit; The side texture painted in light metallic blue was a touch I wanted to give him instead of just a 2-tone design

Looks fantastic. Amazing work on the face. In the Before shot he looks as he was in the early seasons, kinda confused and unsure about himself, in the After pic he looks focused, determined and totally capable of saving the whole world. Best SuperWelling figure I've seen.

For more realism I thought his face needed a little re-sculpt but I opted for the plain old repaint and Kit-bash. I was never a Superman fan but I really loved Smallville! I'm just happy DC decided to continue Season 11 in the Comics. Thanks guys!
