Hi all! Here is my custom Rocket Raccoon, which was mostly made from scratch using Apoxie and fodder that I sculpted to receive some Revoltech joints.

Recipe:
Head, feet and tail - PVC Raccoon figurine
Legs - sculpting and Revoltech joints
Lower torso - scratch sculpt
Upper torso - scratch with fodder sculpted in from ML Inhuman Torch chest and abdomen
Arms - ML Inhuman Torch
Hands - Revoltech figure
Weapons and accessories - modified from fodder bases

I heated, cut, bent, heated and cut the Raccoon figurine for parts and repeated as necessary until happy with the shapes and then sculpted... and sculpted... and... etc. Most of the spare parts such as the arms were re-sculpted.

Fashioned straps, belt and holster from fodder parts and then took a couple of guns and modified them too. Scratch paints on all of the completed sculpts using Model Masters acrylics. Black basecoat and then lots of mixes to achieve some custom colors. Re-used parts such as the head and arms were 50-100% repaints as well.

As far as I'm concerned the only figure Hasbro produced for this character that was any good was the MU 3-pack figure. I aimed to correct that with this one! This was a tough one but well worth it--at a whopping 31 points of articulation into 3.75", this little fella is four feet of fury and ready to Guard the Galaxy! Drax is shown alongside Rocket for scale.
