They finally released this Age of Extinction Deluxe Bumblebee in the UK in the past week or so in the Evolution 2 pack and I eagerly purchased it as I had been waiting months for it's release. It's a great figure but as usual lacking in paint apps to really represent the movie's CGI model as best it could. So I used stills and promotional shots from AoE to try paint it up as accurately as the sculpt's design and my (lack of) painting skills allow.

As usual I am not a great painter or photographer (and with my shakey wrists I probably will never be) but I'm really happy with how it's turned out. It could use a bit of clean up and tweaks but for now I'm calling it done. :)

The gun is the Mechtech gun from the Dark of the Moon Deluxe Bumblebee. I opened it up and removed the spring so that I can have it in extended mode without it popping back. Then repainted it in metallic colours. It can also store on his back in place of one of his large shuriken thingies.

The last photo also includes the stock photo from the back of the box (taken from Seibertron's excellent galleries cos I forgot where I put mine).
