I AM GROOT!
Groot has been on my workbench for over four years and I've finally finished him. I was inspired by another customizer who used the Slash figure from Guitar Hero as the base and added on parts from Treebeard, so I've replicated that recipe.

I did sculpting on the outfit and some on the arms and legs. The face is sculpted from scratch. I gave the whole thing a paint job and sealed him up. I'm really happy with how he turned out. He has double jointed knees and elbows and retains all other articulation. The bandoleer is made from the guitar strap on Slash's guitar.
