"Jim Rook, lead singer of the rock band "the Electrics", enters a run-down shop named Oblivion Inc. Inside, he is somehow transported to the strange dimension Myrra, where he is the descendant of the mighty Myrran warrior Nacht. He takes his ancestor's Sword of Night, a weapon with the ability to warn of danger and force a person to speak the truth, and becomes involved in a clash between Myrra and evil warlocks." They just don't give characters names related to their character's powers like they did in the golden and silver ages. Of course a character called Nightmaster should have the name Jim Rook. Of course. Not the most difficult of projects, besides a head swap and cape he's all DCUC Copperhead, so I'm surprised Mattel never made us pay Signature subscription prices for him (with no sword, lol). I've wanted to make Nightmaster for a while but it wasn't until I found this really nice Tamiya metallic blue that I finally had the right color for his armor. So besides being a DCUC Copperhead he has a DCUC Alan Scott belt, a sheath from a Pirates of the Caribbean figure, a sword from a LoTR Gandalf, standard DCUC cape, and a modified DCUC Starman head with fin removed, and the sides sanded down to look more like ears under a cowl. Filling in my random team shelf so Nightmaster goes well beside others like John Constantine, Deadman, Swamp Thing, and Nightshade (whom is next on my list). Thanks for looking! Good knight! ![]() |
