This is one that's been on the chopping block for a long time. I mean how can I have The Witchblade, The Magdalena, and especially [two of] The Darkness, and no Angelus force? I didn't base the design on any specific incarnation but instead took inspiration from several of The Angelus' looks. I started with a WWE Eva Marie for the body and head mostly because she was almost completely nude and also because I liked how evil her smile looked with the right paint. I gave her Gambit's lower legs both because I liked the armory kind of look they gave her and because it lowered her height just enough to make her in perfect scale. The knees on Remy's boots I had previously sculpted over for a past, failed custom so I gave her right knee the kneepad from a Hope figure I had dismantled. The extra armor on her left leg (which I'm quite proud of) came from cutting and dremeling out part of the Redeemer's leg. The gauntlet on her right wrist was done the same way. The extra flourish from her right leg and left arm gauntlet (which came from the same Hop figure) were also from Redeemer, as was her sword. Her hands were donated from an ECW Ariel figure in order to give me that gripping hand. Obviously the wings are from the Redeemer with the horns being from a DCD Magog figure. The wings ended up being a LOT heavier than I had imagined and I'm still toying with the idea of changing them to something lighter. They just look so pretty... Anyway, the added weight of the wings prevents the figure from stand, hence the wire in the photos, but I'm pretty much okay with that since I've got her on a flight stand. I'd like to thank Jin for his tutorial on adding the wings using Bionicle joints by the way, great idea. Finally I finished off the figure with a dry brush of silver and gold all over her skin which really adds a great godlike sheen and shimmer which of course I couldn't pick up well in the pictures. What do you guys think? Any ideas for some other good looking but lighter wings besides Hawkman?
