A quick project I wanted to throw together after getting my grimy hands on SSB4 a few weeks ago. My Figma collection looked pretty dull, so I wanted to spice it up a bit with one of my favorite palette swaps from the new Smash.

This is just a full repaint, done with conventional household spray paints and craft acrylic brush paints. Tearing the base figure apart for painting was a slightly difficult experience, but masking all the pieces for proper painting was worse. I decided to go with a flat black for most of the suit and gloss white, mixed with some gloss black for certain in-between areas. The entire suit is drybrushed with some silver to add a dirty worn metal look, mostly to match the in-game model a bit better. The visor and light-up areas were supposed to be a neon yellow, but they ended up drying more like green. The lining was done with Gundam Marker, though it was initially pretty messy so I had to clean it up a lot with acrylic brush paints to touch up. I also sprayed the beam effect parts, one with clear blue and the other with metallic purple.
