This set has been a work in progress for a few years now. I just kept coming back to it and adding to it.

I had never planned to share Wun-Dar with the world. His character is an existing official figure. However, I refused to pay the exorbitant secondary market price to get him. So I made him out of fodder from the Big Lots! MOTUC surge that happened a few years ago. That was going to be that.

But then I decided he needed more gear. So he has the standard shield and axe now.

And then I thought he needed a mount. So I made him a mountain lion with a more savage theme, what with the battle paint. I'm sad my camera didn't pick up the more subtle paint details in his fur.

The name "Stessho" is an anagram. "Wun-Dar" is a pun derived from his supposed origins as a Wonder Bread exclusive figure back in the early 80s when Masters of the Universe was first gaining steam. When I was a kid, we had Wonder Bread bargain stores where you could buy their products for cheap, along with their affiliated snack cake company's sweets. So that's where Stessho's name comes from.

Finishing this has just reinforced the notion that I need to make saddle bags for all my mounts to hold all their extra weapons.
