And so begins my Frankenstein's Army inspired figure series. Here we have the "creator", Ludwig Von Lichtenstein. He is the nephew of the infamous Dr. Frankenstein, but due to the fear his uncle had instilled in the public he ended up changing his last name and moving south of Geneva, Switzerland.
On April 27,1945 Lugwig is approached by a SS General Ludolf Alvensleben and offered a job working for the Third Reich. Ludwig refused, but after loosing his right hand during "negotiations" he finally accepts and is assigned to work on PROJEKT WIEDERGEBURG(PROJECT REBIRTH).
The General tells him that the project will consist of the reanimation of human corpses. Nazi corpses. He also informs him that the project is on hold temporally because he has direct orders from Hitler himself that the project is not to commence until after his death.
Ludwig is ordered to gather all necessary materials, including his late uncles journal. Commissioned trucks begin delivering Nazi remains and piling them up close by his makeshift laboratory. Secretly Ludwig hoped the project will never mobilize, but on April 30,1945 he his informed that Hitler had just committed suicide in his Berlin bunker. The project had begun.
